BLOODSTOCK Festival Organizers Seek Unsigned Acts
November 5, 2006The U.K.'s premier metal music festival Bloodstock has just launched its all-new web site with an appeal for unsigned bands to make contact. After six years of creating the largest genre-driven indoor and outdoor festivals, the Derby-based enterprise has turned its attention to expansion.
Known as the festival organized "for fans by fans," Bloodstock is delivering that motto in several ways. Their new site is appealing for any unsigned acts to make contact with slots at the 2007 festivals up for grabs.
In addition to the usual lineup of international headliners appearing on the main stage, Bloodstock Open Air 2007 will feature three unsigned stages. The bands will be playing to thousands of festival attendees as well as major music industry players. Interested artists should click on www.bloodstock.uk.com and go the "Unsigned" area.
With an ever-increasing Internet presence, the new site is already attracting a phenomenal response from both the industry and public. Forums, blogs, band news, picture galleries, competitions and an amazing music video feature are all generating just the sort of profile that emerging acts will benefit from.
